Wildlife of Surrey, Important Sites and Hidden Gems

This talk will cover the important, special wildlife sites of Surrey, from the Heathlands in the North and West, to the Surrey Hills and the River valleys.  From the well-known protected sites and National Trust parkland, to the less well known, but still important nature reserves, managed by Surrey Wildlife Trust, Local Authorities and Community Groups. Many of these small sites are hidden gems, known only to the local community but real havens for wildlife. The talk will focus on the rare and fascinating wildlife to be found in these sites.
